“. . . not to an arms race but to a peace race—to advance together step by step, stage by stage, until general and complete disarmament has been achieved.” PRESIDENT KENNEDY September 25,…

  1. The Secret Doctrine of Freemasonry states that every man is a potential god and therefore does not need the intercession of Christ, since the Mason himself can attain salvation by himself:
"In a metaphysical sense, every so-called atom of matter is composed in the same way, and goes through a similar process." Thus, it may be seen that the key to the whole process of evolution is Analogy. And from the intimate relation of man to every principle, process, and plan that he synthesizes the whole, and that through the expansion of consciousness, and differentiation through his long experience, when the consummation of evolution is attained, man will be one With all, knowledge and being will be one in him, hence he will be a god in the Platonic sense. " (Mystic Masonry, J Dewey Buck, 1897, p. 162)
It is also clear from the writings of Lynn F. Perkins (1960) that Jesus differs in nothing from Buddha, Krishna, etc .:
"The ancient teachings were projected on the earth by the great teachers -" Avatars, "" divine messengers, "" messiahs, "" roadmakers, "" exemplars, "" elder brothers, "who came under the command of the Great Architect In flesh, from the Heavenly Lodge at different times and to different races of men. Jesus of Nazareth was sent to be a light to the world to some branches of the human race, but other branches had, and now has, his Buddha, his Freemasonry declares that all these peoples, regardless of their religion or creed, are "children of God" born into a particular race, religion, or creed to gain whatever benefits and self-development they need, Or of which they are capable, on their long journey back to the Heavenly Lodge. As all men "live and move and have their being" in the Creator, all men are potential brothers. Therefore Masonry emphasizes that no Avatar is more than Than the other in his ritual; And Freemasons from all over the world express their first allegiance to God as the Universal Father, and as builders of a spiritual structure they follow the teachings in their own peculiar Book of the Law as best they can. Christian Freemasonry can, and should, fraternize with The Masons of every race, color or creed, if the ideal of world brotherhood of all peoples must become a fact "(The Meaning of Masonry, p.55)

  2. Albert Pike(1871) claims that Satan is not a person, but simply a force that can serve to both good and evil purposes:
"The true name of Satan, the Kabalists say, is that of Yahveh reversed ; for Satan is not a black god, but the negation of God. The Devil is the personification of Atheism or Idolatry.
For the Initiates, this is not a Person, but a Force, created for good, but which may serve for evil. It is the instrument of Liberty or Free Will. They represent this Force, which presides over the physical generation, under the mythologic and horned form of the God Pan ; thence came the he-goat of the Sabbat, brother of the Ancient Serpent, and the Light-bearer or Phosphor, of which the poets have made the false Lucifer of the legend." (Morals and Dogma, p. 102)
Besides, Pike denies that Lucifer is an evil spirit or dark entity, since his name means the Light Bearer:
"Lucifer, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual, or selfish Souls ! Doubt it not !" (Morals and Dogma,1871, p.321)
Moreover, according to the writings of Manly P. Hall (1923) we can see that the God of Freemasonry is an entity that the author defines as being Lucifer:
"When the Mason learns that the key to the Rock Warrior is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he will have learned the mystery of his craft. The life-giving energy of Lucifer is in your hands, and before you can move forward and up, you must prove your ability to apply energy properly." (The Lost Keys of Freemasonry, 1923, p. 48)
